Waters Mill : North Georgia Weddings and Events Venue

The chill is in the air in the North Georgia Mountains and at Waters Mill we are in full swing with our Fall weddings.  This has been an unbelievable year for Waters Mill and we are grateful for the blessings that our Lord has graciously given us.

Two weeks ago it was a very soggy day as Georgia was being inundated with the Flood of 2009.  Jimmy and I were busy trying to keep Waters Mill safe from the drenching and to be honest it had been a very difficult day.  Sitting at my desk thinking about the up-coming wedding, I received a phone call from the local newspaper, The Dahlonega Nugget.  Waters Mill had been voted the Best Place to have a Wedding in the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County area.  WOW!!!  We were blown away with the news.   We have much competition in the Dahlonega area and are honored the people in Lumpkin County love Waters Mill has much as we do.

At Waters Mill, we are so particular about the details.  It takes the entire team in order for our weddings to be successful.  At Waters Mill, our staff is so well trained they anticipate the needs of the guests before the guests realize they have a need.  Customer service is our primary goal at Waters Mill.

I have had many tell me there is a "peace" at Waters Mill.  Many times we have vistors that just come and hang out.  We invite you to come up and hang out with us.  Enjoy the vista views, the rocking chairs, sip on a mint julep  and if you come on Sunday you can even enjoy our homecooked meals during Sunday Brunch.  This past weekend we had a fresh Australian Cream Strawberry Cake....my favorite.  Thank you Dahlonega-Lumpkin County for believing in Waters Mill.  It is an honor to serve you.
