The past couple of months I have been neglecting my duties of blogging has Waters Mill has been crazy busy with weddings, rehearsal dinners, class reunions and Christmas Parties. Christmas seems like a whirlwind for me for once the parties were over and satisfied guests had departed to the warmth of their homes, it was now time to celebrate with my family. We then began working with new potential clients the day after Christmas as they began combing thru the many options looking for the perfect destination for their wedding and special events.
Part of what I love about my business is the people I meet and today is no different. I met such a delightful Mom today as she was the scout for her daughter. Her daughter lives in California and is planning a wedding home in Dahlonega. On a whim, she stopped by the sales office yesterday but because I already had another appointment, she came back today. Visiting with her today was such a joy for me. We converse for several hours about her daughter’s wedding and much more. But before she left into the chilly damp North Georgia air, she paid me what I consider to be a high compliment. She said to me, “there’s good energy here”. Wow! I love that. I must agree there is something peaceful about Waters Mill. Oh sure during full season things get a little hopping and a bit crazy but you can always feel the good energy. The Eagles sang about Peaceful Easy Feeling in the 70’s and I must say you certainly can feel that magic at Waters Mill. Isn’t Good Energy important in a world that is sometimes covered with dark clouds by nay sayers, politics, and fear. Our Creator never intended for us to live in fear. Our Creator has always wanted us to enjoy the Peaceful Easy Feeling and have Good energy. To reach out to others and yes to serve. At Waters Mill, we are studying serving and we want to serve you. Come and experience the Good Energy at Waters Mill. Who knows I might just make you some of Mama Waters fresh squeezed lemonade and sit a spell on the porch and say nothing but just rock in Good Energy. |
