Can you use your own caterer or is there an in-house caterer whose services must be used?

Off site caterers are not allowed for your event. Waters Mill runs a fully staffed kitchen equipped with a chef and two sous chefs. Our menu is built from coveted family recipes and local dishes that will leave your guests begging to know our secrets. We are also able to prepare any personal recipes from your family that you feel will make your day more personalized.

Do you provide tasting consultations/food tastings? Is there a fee for such tastings?

All of Waters Mill brides' are invited to attend one of our tastings before her wedding. At a tasting, you will sample many of our signature dishes. You will also taste the many available options for our mouth watering cakes. The bride and one guest is complimentary, and each additional guest is $25.00.

If buffet style is offered, are servers provided or will it be self-serve?

Your reception will be self-serve, buffet style. Servers are used for the passing of hors d'ourves before the buffet is formally opened. Staff is available to make sure your guests are well take care of during your event.

Does the headcount include wedding professionals at the event (photographers, DJs, etc.)?

Yes.

Are there special prices for children?

Children are half price.

What is your leftover policy?

The bride and groom will receive a complimentary to-go box gift to enjoy on the first night of their honeymoon. The remaining cake is boxed up for the bride and groom as well.
